Marketplace Disclosures
Last updated: April 24, 2026
Summary: BizLendHub is a marketplace, not a lender. We receive compensation from lenders when applications result in funded loans. Rate quotes and pre-qualification estimates are not commitments to lend. State-specific commercial financing disclosures are provided at the time of a specific loan offer.
Our role and compensation
BizLendHub is a business financing marketplace operated by Eniji LLC. We are not a direct lender. We match small and mid-sized businesses with lenders in our partner network based on the information you provide.
We are compensated by lenders when applications we submit result in funded transactions. Compensation may vary between lenders and loan products. We maintain editorial independence in the content we publish, and we disclose material financial relationships where they could reasonably affect a consumer decision.
Rate and term estimates
Rate ranges, example payments, calculator outputs, and "typical" qualification criteria shown on the Site reflect general market conditions and lender practices as of the date indicated. They are not commitments to lend, quotes, or offers. Your actual offer, if any, depends on:
- Underwriting by the specific lender
- Your credit profile, business financials, and use of funds
- Market conditions at the time of application
- Collateral, guarantees, and other transaction-specific factors
Rates change frequently. Always review the actual offer documents provided by a lender before accepting financing.
Pre-qualification vs. final approval
Pre-qualification is an initial assessment based on information you provide. It typically involves a soft credit inquiry that does not affect your credit score. Pre-qualification is not a guarantee of approval or funding. Final approval requires full underwriting, which may include a hard credit inquiry, document verification, and collateral review.
Credit inquiries
Initial matching on BizLendHub uses a soft credit inquiry that does not affect your credit score. When you proceed with a specific lender's application, that lender may conduct a hard credit inquiry, which may temporarily lower your score. Each lender's inquiry practices are disclosed by that lender before you complete their application.
State-specific commercial financing disclosures
Several U.S. states require specific disclosures for commercial financing offers. When you receive an actual offer from a lender, the required state-specific disclosures will be provided at that time. These include:
- California SB 1235: commercial financing transactions of $500,000 or less require standardized APR, finance charge, and payment disclosures
- New York Commercial Financing Disclosure Law: requires APR, finance charge, and prepayment information for most commercial financing
- Virginia, Utah, and Connecticut: each state has its own commercial financing disclosure requirements effective for offers in those states
These disclosures are the responsibility of the lender extending the offer, not BizLendHub as a marketplace.
Merchant cash advances
Merchant cash advances (MCAs) are not loans. They are purchases of future receivables at a discount. MCAs are not subject to state usury caps and often carry effective APRs significantly higher than conventional loans. We include MCAs in our product matching because they serve specific use cases (speed, credit flexibility), but we strongly recommend comparing the true APR (not just the factor rate) against alternative products before accepting.
Our MCA Factor Rate Calculator shows the true APR of any MCA offer and compares it to equivalent term loan pricing.
SBA loans
SBA loans are made by SBA Preferred Lenders and other partner institutions. The SBA itself does not lend directly. SBA guarantee reduces lender risk, which typically enables more favorable terms than conventional commercial loans. Specific eligibility, rates, fees, and terms are set by the partner lender within SBA program rules. Loan amounts, terms, and approval timelines described on the Site are typical ranges and not guaranteed.
Lender network
We work with a network of lenders including banks, SBA lenders, specialty commercial finance companies, online lenders, and merchant cash advance funders. The specific lenders receiving your application depend on your business profile and the financing type you request. We do not submit applications to every lender for every applicant.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, that any specific lender will make an offer, or that the terms of any offer will match the estimates shown on the Site. Lender underwriting is the sole determinant of approval.
